The Miami Dolphins announced they have activated linebacker Cameron Goode off the reserve/physically unable to perform list and released defensive tackle Neil Farrell. The team also elevated wide receiver Erik Ezukanma to the active roster for Sunday's game.
Goode appeared in 17 games with Miami in 2023, recording three tackles (one solo) and three quarterback hits. He spent the 2022 season on Miami's practice squad. Goode was a seventh-round selection (224th overall) by Miami in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at California (2017-21), where he appeared in 37 games and recorded 170 tackles (97 solo), 21 sacks, two interceptions, 12 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in five seasons with the Golden Bears.
Farrell has appeared in 19 career games with Las Vegas (2022), Kansas City (2023) and Miami (2024), recording 15 tackles (five solo), one pass defensed and two tackles for loss. He played in seven games with Miami in 2024 and recorded two tackles (one solo). Farrell originally entered the league as a fourth-round selection (126th overall) by Las Vegas in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at LSU (2017-21), where he appeared in 52 career games with 21 starts and recorded 144 tackles (55 solo), 7.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and five passes defensed.
Ezukanma has played in four career games, totaling one reception for three yards and five carries for 22 yards (4.4 avg.) in three seasons with Miami (2022-24). He appeared in Miami's Week 3 matchup at Seattle earlier this season. Ezukanma was a fourth-round selection (125th overall) by the Dolphins in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Texas Tech (2018-21), where he appeared in 35 games and totaled 138 receptions for 2,165 yards and 15 touchdowns in addition to 10 carries for 138 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He earned first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2020.
