Hard Rock Stadium and Verizon Expand Partnership, Welcoming Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Hard Rock Stadium, the Miami Dolphins and South Florida Motorsports (SFM) today announced an expanded partnership with Verizon, extending the telecommunications leader's presence across a growing portfolio of marquee events including the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX at the Miami International Autodrome.

This enhanced, multi-year agreement builds upon Verizon's longstanding relationship with the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, which began in 2017 and reflects a broader integration across the entire venue and its premier events. From powering the fan journey at Dolphins games to supporting major global events like the Super Bowl and international soccer matches, Verizon has played an integral role in enriching the fan experience through its cutting-edge technological solutions across Hard Rock Stadium's diverse event calendar. The new partnership with the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX marks a natural evolution of this deep-rooted relationship, as Verizon extends its capabilities and presence across the campus during race weekend.

This enhanced partnership also includes expanded collaboration across the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium brands. Verizon will play a larger role in supporting the Dolphins community initiatives that reach deep into the South Florida region, including programs like the FOOTBALL UNITES™ Jason Jenkins Day of Service and Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC), the NFL's largest fundraising event supporting cancer research.

Verizon will work alongside Hard Rock Stadium to serve fans across a diverse slate of world-class events – from football and soccer to concerts and music festivals – reinforcing the stadium's status as a global entertainment destination. The collaboration will also showcase the company's commitment to supporting small businesses across South Florida as it will aim to partner with local organizations to ensure each event represents the dynamic community.

"Verizon's expanded role across our enterprise reflects our joint commitment to community, connectivity and world-class experiences," said Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, Jason Green. "Deepening this relationship aligned seamlessly with our organization's dedication to innovation, fan-first experiences and community impact, as it elevates the fan experience through innovative touchpoints that create unforgettable moments across every event we host."

Since the inaugural FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX in 2022, Verizon has powered the Miami International Autodrome (MIA) at Hard Rock Stadium with its 5G Ultra Wideband network, ensuring unparalleled connectivity for spectators, media and teams alike. Verizon's dedication to technological innovation and community enrichment has made it a natural partner for the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, helping to solidify Miami's reputation on the Formula 1 calendar as a hub of speed, innovation and luxury.

The expanded partnership with SFM includes an elevated presence of Verizon branding across the Miami International Autodrome, an exclusive activation within the Paddock Club™ and a slate of immersive fan experiences designed to amplify the excitement of race weekend.

The FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2025 will mark the fourth edition of the event held on the 3.36-mile circuit within the Hard Rock Stadium complex, home of the Miami Dolphins. Miami's race is the first of three Formula 1 events in the United States and has established itself as a unique blend of thrilling motorsport, cultural vibrancy and premium fan experiences.
