Miami Dolphins Make Roster Moves

The Miami Dolphins announced they have signed wide receiver Dee Eskridge to the active roster off their practice squad and placed quarterback Tyler Huntley on the injured reserve list. Additionally, the team signed defensive tackle Matt Dickerson to the practice squad.

Eskridge is in his fourth NFL season and has appeared in 26 career games with Seattle (2021-23) and Miami (2024). He has recorded 18 receptions for 152 yards (8.4 avg.) and one touchdown, while contributing 456 yards on 18 kickoff returns (25.3 avg.). He's appeared in two games with Miami this year, recording one reception for 30 yards and contributing 28 yards on a kickoff return. He entered the NFL as a second-round selection (56th overall) by Seattle in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Western Michigan where he appeared in 45 games and recorded 122 receptions for 2,260 yards (18.5 avg.) and 15 touchdowns during five seasons (2016-20).

Dickerson is a six-year veteran who has appeared in 36 career games with Tennessee (2018-20), Atlanta (2022) and Kansas City (2023), recording 42 tackles (17 solo). He also spent time on the practice squad with Arizona in 2021. Dickerson entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Tennessee in 2018. He played collegiately at UCLA, where he appeared in 45 games and recorded 93 tackles (48 solo), 1.5 sacks and four passes defensed in four seasons with the Bruins (2014-17).

Huntley signed with Miami on September 17, 2024, and started three games, completing 39-of-66 attempts (59.1 pct.) for 377 yards and one touchdown, along with 67 yards on 16 carries (4.2 avg.) and one rushing touchdown. Prior to Miami, he spent four seasons with Baltimore (2020-23), where he appeared in two postseason contests (2020, 2022), starting one of them in 2022. A 2022 Pro Bowl selection, he's appeared in 23 career games with 12 starts, completing 260-of-408 passes (67.7 pct.) for 2,334 yards, nine touchdowns and eight interceptions. Huntley spent the 2024 offseason with Cleveland and the first two weeks of the regular season on Baltimore's practice squad. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Baltimore in 2020. Huntley played collegiately at Utah, where he appeared in 37 career games with 33 starts and completed 574-of-854 passes (67.2 pct.) for 7,351 yards, 46 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. He attended Hallandale High School in Hallandale Beach, Fla., where he was named the 2015 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year.
