Miami Dolphins Make Roster Moves

The Miami Dolphins announced they have activated offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn off the physically unable to perform list and waived offensive lineman Lester Cotton.

Additionally, the team released long snapper Tucker Addington from the practice squad and signed long snapper Zach Triner to the practice squad.

Wynn has appeared in 50 careers games with 47 starts with New England (2019-22) and Miami (2023). He started seven games at left guard for the Dolphins last year, helping Miami lead the NFL in total offense (401.3) and passing offense (265.5). He entered the NFL as a first-round selection (23rd overall) by New England in the 2018 NFL Draft following a collegiate career at Georgia.

Cotton has appeared in 42 career games with nine starts with Las Vegas (2019-22) and Miami (2022-24). He has also appeared in two postseason games with the Dolphins, starting one at left guard (2022). He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Raiders in 2019. Cotton played collegiately at Alabama where he was a regular starter for the 2017 national championship team.

Triner has appeared in 81 career games in six seasons with Tampa Bay (2019-24). He also spent time on the practice squad with Green Bay at the end of the 2017 season. Triner entered the NFL in 2017 as a free agent with the N.Y. Jets. He played collegiately at Assumption College (2012-14) in Worcester, Mass.

Addington has appeared in 10 career games in four seasons with New England (2022, 2024), Washington (2023) and Miami (2024). He entered the NFL in 2022 as a free agent with Dallas, where he spent time on the practice squad. Prior to his practice squad stint with the Cowboys, Addington played for the Houston Gamblers—now known as the Roughnecks—of the USFL in 2022. He played collegiately at Sam Houston State, where he appeared in 34 games in four seasons with the Bearkats (2016-19).
