The Miami Dolphins announced they have signed offensive lineman Braeden Daniels to the active roster off Dallas' practice squad and placed tackle Kendall Lamm on the injured reserve list.
Daniels entered the NFL as a fourth-round selection (118th overall) by Washington in the 2023 NFL Draft, where he spent the 2023 season on injured reserve. He also spent time on the practice squad with Houston, the L.A. Chargers, Philadelphia and Dallas in 2024. Daniels played collegiately at Utah where he appeared in 49 career games with 43 starts – 18 at left guard, 14 at left tackle and 11 at right tackle. He was a Pac-12 All-Conference first-team selection in 2022.
Lamm appeared in 15 games with seven starts at right tackle this season with Miami. He has played in 119 career games with 44 starts in 10 seasons with Houston (2015-18), Cleveland (2019-20), Tennessee (2021) and Miami (2022-24). He has also appeared in eight playoff games with one postseason start. Lamm entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Houston in 2015 after a collegiate career at Appalachian State.
