Felipe Formiga serves as vice president of international development and leads the organization's brand development and growth strategy in key international markets across the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, the Miami Open and the Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix.
Formiga joined the team in December 2024 after spending nearly four years with Oakley, where he most recently served as the global head of NFL and football. He was responsible for implementing a comprehensive global marketing strategy and go-to-market plan, and guided the collaboration of cross-functional teams to drive business growth in the football sector. He first joined the eyewear company in April 2021 as the global head of Esports and gaming, where he established a brand footprint in the industry, leading the business growth and key partnerships with OpTic Gaming, 100T and G2, in addition to product collaborations with Call of Duty and Fortnite, two of the most successful gaming franchises at the time. Before his time at Oakley, Formiga served as the head of marketing for Latin America at On Running, where he played a key role in establishing the brand's subsidiary in Brazil and expanding its presence across the company's fastest growing region. He also spent eight years with Adidas, serving in various marketing and business roles based in Brazil, Panama and Germany.
A São Paulo, Brazil native and graduate of Metodista University of São Paulo, Formiga is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He and his wife, Mariana, have two children, Maria and Zion, and reside in Weston.
