Chris Clements is the club's senior vice president & chief financial officer, a position he's held since 2014. In his role, Clements is responsible for organizational accounting, payroll, insurance, treasury, business systems, purchasing operations and business strategy for properties including the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and the Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. Additionally, he managed all budget and expenditures for over $800 million in capital investments for projects including the Hard Rock Stadium modernization, Miami Open tennis facility and the Baptist Health Training Complex.
Clements joined the Dolphins after working at IMG Worldwide since 1996 in a variety of senior leadership positions, most recently as senior vice president and business unit chief financial officer of several sports segments in Cleveland.
In May 2023, South Florida Business Journal recognized Clements as CFO of the Year for private companies in South Florida.
In December 2019, South Florida Business & Wealth recognized Clements with the Apogee Award for being a top leader in South Florida Business. Clements holds a degree in accounting from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan.
In 2015, Clements received the Alumni Achievement Award from his alma mater, the highest honor the university bestows upon an alumnus. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Clements is the chief financial officer and treasurer of the Miami Dolphins Foundation.
He is intimately involved in the Dolphins Cancer Challenge as a board member and served as DCC VIII Chair. Clements and his wife, Sherry, reside in Parkland with their three children, Riley, Ella and Blaine.
