Anthony Fasano: Cool Guys Don't Bowl
Miami Dolphins Tales From The Deep
After delivering one of the most prolific careers by a tight end in Notre Dame history, Anthony Fasano was selected in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. Fasano spent two years in Dallas before the front office that drafted him traded for his services to reunite them all in Miami. Fasano spent six of his 12 seasons with the Dolphins, hauling in 189 receptions for 2,211 yards and 24 touchdowns.
In the Fish Tank, Anthony discusses his New Jersey roots and his high school's curious mascot (1:13) while providing clarity on his larger-than-life Wikipedia bio (2:39). He goes on to explain his decision to attend Notre Dame over OJ's alma mater Penn State (4:15), opens up on being traded to Miami just two years into his NFL career (5:35), and fondly recalls his Wild Cat experience (8:04). Anthony also expresses pride in his mentorship of Kansas City Chief's star, Travis Kelce (12:53), his lack of pride in all things bowling (16:31), shares the inspiration behind the Anthony Fasano Foundation (19:53), and participates in the longest "Two-Minute Drill" in show history (26:58).
