Here were some of the postgame comments that stood out after the Dolphins' 16-12 victory against the Indianapolis Colts, along with some perspective:
"We talked about winning moments and I think we're starting to win some of those."
— Head Coach Brian Flores was happy about a lot of things surrounding the victory against the Colts, perhaps most notably the ability to come up big in clutch situations. The late defensive stand obviously jumps out as a key moment when the defense stopped the Colts on downs to clinch the victory.
"I was a little surprised I got to the end zone, but I made it. But I guess I've still got a little bit of quickness."
— Ryan Fitzpatrick described his touchdown scramble in the second quarter, which saw him take off after he couldn't find an open receiver. A quick pump fake created enough room for him to be able to reach the corner of the end zone for his 11-yard touchdown.
"We're not satisfied with just these two wins. We're going to try to keep going to get more. That's our goal. That's our mind-set."
— Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins said he has seen the team come together and build camaraderie more and more with each passing week and the results have shown up on the field the past two weeks. Wilkins is confident there are more good things to come the rest of this season and beyond.
"This is one of those games you live for. You dream about this. It's exactly what you want to play for."
— Safety Steven Parker enjoyed the victory in the sense that it was a back-and-forth game that came down to the end. Parker certainly played a big role in the victory with his end-zone interception in the first quarter.
