Highlights and observations from the 11th training camp practice at the Baptist Health Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University:
- The Dolphins again practiced in shoulder pads Tuesday.
- Defensive end **William Hayes** (hamstring) and offensive lineman **Jake Brendel** (calf) again were the only two players to sit out practice.
- Wide receiver **Isaiah Ford** (shoulder) again was wearing a red (non-contact jersey). Tight end **A.J. Derby** took part in team drills for the first time in more than a week, though he practiced on a limited basis.
- Rookie tight end **Mike Gesicki** again made a tough catch in the end zone despite tight coverage in a one-on-one drill.
- New Dolphins running back **Jeremy Langford**, who was signed Monday, took part in practice and is wearing number 42.
- Players used to return kickoffs in a special teams drill early in practice included rookies **Kalen Ballage** and **Jalen Davis**, as well as **Torry McTyer**.
- **Cordrea Tankersley** lined up opposite **Xavien Howard** at cornerback with the first-team defense.
- Rookie seventh-round pick **Jason Sanders** handled the kicking duties Tuesday. He was 7-for-8 on field goal attempts, with a long of 59 yards.
- Defensive tackle **Vincent Taylor** batted down a pass at the line of scrimmage.
- **Ryan Tannehill** had a 15-yard completion to **Kenny Stills** on a third down in a two-minute drill.
- Defensive end **Cameron Wake** got to Tannehill twice for what would have been sacks in a game situation.
- Safety **T.J. McDonald** had an interception in the end zone in a red-zone drill.
- Defensive end **Jonathan Woodard** had a sack in a red-zone drill.
- Team drills ended with **Bryce Petty** throwing a short touchdown pass to **Malcolm Lewis**.
- Safety **Minkah Fitzpatrick** got to Tannehill almost untouched on a blitz.
- Linebacker **Quentin Poling** deflected a pass while covering downfield.
